Lindsey Minaker is a singer-songwriter, worship leader, and recording artist living in London, Ontario.  Her songs, which speak of life’s joys, challenges, and the faithfulness of a loving Saviour, have gained popularity over the past decade due to their lyrical depth and unforgettable tunes.
Lindsey’s 2019 album Your Great Light won a Gospel Music Award  (“Trust You” for “Country / Southern Gospel Song of the Year”),  featuring 12 original tracks including the worldwide hit single “Time To Say Yes”, which is being played in over 89 countries!
This album takes listeners on a journey that every person will resonate with, and points people to the faithfulness of God in every season of life. The record demonstrates Lindsey’s versatility as an artist, featuring an eclectic mix of styles, from upbeat dance grooves, to folk/country, pop/rock, and the most powerful ballads you’ll ever hear. Lindsey’s powerful vocals, unforgettable melodies, and moving lyrics are on full display on this album.
The album title was chosen as “Your Great Light” to reflect the song of the same name, which points towards the great Light of the World – Jesus Christ Himself – who declared Himself as “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). As the darkness of the world increases, so does the need for every child of God to stand up and be the lights of the world Jesus Himself called us to be! The time is short, and the time is now.
These songs call upon the Church to wake up, to ignite the fire of passion and love in our hearts, and to take the Good News of Jesus Christ out into a world that so desperately needs it.
Throughout the album, Lindsey shares her personal experiences through song, which cover topics of brokenness, trust, forgiveness, blessings, surrender, and the love of Jesus Christ.
Lindsey released her first full-length album Still Remain in 2012, and has since received nationwide popularity with hit songs such as “Edmund’s Song“, “Maybe Today” and “Wounded Soldier.”
Outside of her career as an artist, Lindsey enjoys helping musicians to the next level by teaching piano, vocal, ukulele and songwriting lessons. Check out her lessons page to sign up!
